Revit CoordinatorDue to continuing growth, we are looking to add a Revit Coordinator to join our onsite team located at Gatwick. We are supporting Hospitals, Universities, New Build developments, Towns and Cities as well as Industrial and Commercial clients to decarbonise their buildings.We have and continue to work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK which are supporting the UK's Net Zero targets, such as the recently announced £1 billion low-carbon infrastructure project for Westminster.With plans to double our headcount over the coming years, supported by offices opening in new locations across the country and our strong investment pipeline, coupled with our expansion into new markets such as industrial power generation with our very own Energy-from-Waste facility, there is no better time to join the family here at Vital Energi.The roleThe Revit Coordinator will support current projects, specifically the Gatwick Airport project, through the production of 3D models in Revit and AutoCAD. The successful candidate must:Have proven experience in producing coordinated MEP models in Revit and be able to deliver to industry BIM standards.Be willing to split working location between Gatwick and the London office.Be willing to apply for DBS checks.*This position is subject to obtaining security clearance.Key responsibilities-Capable of working to procedures – both client and Vital Energi.Ensure that drawings are produced quickly and accurately in a consistent format with the minimum of supervision.Capable of high competency using Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks.Produce 3D Coordinated MEP models in Revit and able to ensure accuracy, integration, and compliance with BIM standardsEnsure all outputs meet project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and industry requirements.Experience with using ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) desirableExperience with Cobie Data and Asset InformationClash Detection using NavisworksConduct regular 3D model reviews with our design team and client team.Ability to attend site when required to take down survey data and transform into Revit drawings.Interpret mark-ups by project personnel and produce clear drawings.Follow and apply quality assurance standards.Be a mentor to trainees and apprentices.Qualifications:A sound computer literate background is essential.A recognized qualification in engineering such as ONC or HNC or equivalent is expectedExperience:5 years' experience in a similar role.Previous experience within a design consultancy is preferable but not essential.Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (from version 2011).Desirable:Able to influence and persuade others.Stakeholder focus.Policies and procedures.Includes:Salary negotiable DOEContributory Company Pension SchemeNon-contributory death-in-service insuranceEmployee Assistance Programme25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holidays.Additional holidays awarded in line with length of serviceOption to purchase/sell additional holidaysOnsite gym/wellbeing centre at our Blackburn Head OfficeDiscounted gym membership across the UKEV charging points where possibleApplications will be processed within 28 days of receipt.
