Newton Waterproofing Systems are looking for a full-time, permanent Operations & Sales Executive to join our close-knit and hardworking team at our growing distribution centre in Hunslet, Leeds.We are the oldest independent supplier in the UK waterproofing industry, supplying a wide range of structural waterproofing, damp proofing and repair solutions into commercial, residential and civil projects across the country.OverviewThe Operations & Sales Executive will focus on supporting and developing the skills to manage the sales and warehousing functions at our Leeds branch.This role combines hands-on training in a sales, trade counter and warehouse environment, focusing on providing customers with the highest level of service.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Trade Counter Management:Support daily trade counter operations, ensuring excellent customer service.Handle customer enquiries and order processing.Assist in monitoring and managing stock levels at the trade counter to meet customer demand.Logistics and Distribution:Coordinate the timely delivery of orders to customers and sites.Work with logistics teams to optimise delivery routes and schedules.Warehouse Operations:Accurate picking and packing of daily stock orders.Loading of daily sales orders onto the company vans for dispatch.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.Unloading incoming stock.Skills and Qualifications:Essential:Organisational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within teams and with customers.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.Desirable:Familiarity with health and safety standards in a warehouse environment.Experience or knowledge of construction products or trade counter operations.Personal Attributes:Customer-focused with a commitment to high service standards.Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic working environment.Working Conditions:8am to 5pm on-site, Monday to FridayPhysical fitness to handle occasional handling of stock.Dynamic environment balancing warehouse operations and customer-facing responsibilities.Salary and Benefits:Depending on experience, with opportunities for performance-based progression.Quarterly bonus scheme based on KPIs and overall company performanceContinuous professional development and career advancement opportunities.Application Process:Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting their CV toJob Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: Depending on experienceBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionFinancial planning servicesLife insuranceOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Leeds LS10 1RJ: Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting workLicence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In person
