I am looking for a high-calibre SAFe professional who can hit the ground running, bring structure to a demanding delivery landscape, and confidently operate within a sophisticated, customer-facing environment.The RoleAs Release Train Engineer, you will operate at programme level within a SAFe 6 environment, driving alignment across multiple Agile teams and ensuring coordinated delivery into a complex systems integration programme.You will play a pivotal role in planning, synchronising and improving delivery performance across the Agile Release Train (ART), while maintaining strong engagement with internal stakeholders and a high-expectation external customer.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate ART events including PI Planning, ART Syncs, demos, retrospectives and backlog refinementDrive cross-team collaboration, resolving inter-departmental challenges and removing impedimentsManage upstream and downstream dependencies in partnership with Product ManagementEnsure effective programme-level coordination including timelines, milestones, cost, schedule and performance oversightUse data-driven insights to improve value delivery and product outcomesCoach Scrum Masters and team leads, resolving conflict and strengthening Agile maturityAct as a consultant and leader within the programme, promoting SAFe best practice tailored to organisational needsNavigate and influence within a demanding, high-stakes customer environmentEssential ExperienceExtensive experience operating as an RTE within a SAFe delivery environment (SAFe 6 preferred)Proven background in large system integration programmesStrong understanding of software development lifecycles within complex technical environmentsExperience managing multiple stakeholder groups across complex delivery organisationsDemonstrated ability to lead teams delivering complex solutions and foster critical thinkingConfident conflict resolution and coaching capabilityEssential QualificationScaled Agile Framework (SAFe) CertificationAdditional InformationThis is an SC (UK Eyes Only) opening – Eligibility to gain is essentialHybrid working modelWhy Apply?This is a rare opportunity to step into a newly established, high-impact role within a major long-term programme.
