This is a mainly yard-based role with occasional customer site visits.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and service generators for the hire fleetRepair generators on-site as requiredAssist with loading/unloading equipment in the yardDrive forklifts in the yard (training provided if required)Deliver and collect generators and ancillary equipment using company vehiclesParticipate in the on-call rota as neededSynchronise generators on site when requiredMaintain safe, tidy workspaces and comply with Health & Safety standardsFollow ISO 9001 procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesSkills & Experience:Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, or Plant (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ, or equivalent)OR completed apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electrical EngineeringOR proven experience servicing diesel generators or maintaining plant machineryStrong fault-finding and communication skillsForklift licence preferredApplyIf this role is of interest, please click apply to send your CV or if you have any questions contact Kirk at Pertemps 07483 300 894.
