You will support and enhance enterprise-wide systems including servers, networks, telecommunications and end-user devices, ensuring secure, reliable and high-performing technology services across the business.You will play a key role in implementing new systems, upgrading existing infrastructure, managing projects, supporting helpdesk escalations, and strengthening enterprise-level security. This role requires someone who keeps up to date with emerging technologies and can confidently articulate the value of IT solutions to the wider business.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage and deliver IT projects, policies and technical initiativesInstall, configure and maintain enterprise network systems, hardware, software and peripheralsMonitor and optimise Data Centre and Microsoft Azure operations to ensure maximum uptimePerform network and system administration dutiesProvide technical support, troubleshooting and escalation managementRespond to helpdesk tickets, calls and email support requests in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain network security, data integrity and system security proceduresCollaborate with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholdersManage IT asset inventory and hardware lifecyclePrepare and deploy computer systems across the organisationDeliver technical guidance and knowledge transfer within the IT teamProduce and maintain documentation for systems, processes and proceduresProvide occasional travel support, including inter-site and potential international travelSupport after-hours or weekend work where business needs requireAbout YouWe are looking for a technically capable, solutions-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic operational environment.You will demonstrate:Strong communication skills comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExcellent organisational and multi-tasking abilityHigh accountability and professional conductAdvanced problem-solving and analytical capabilityAbility to prioritise effectively and work independently or collaborativelyA proactive and adaptable approachTechnical Experience RequiredExtensive experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platformSolid understanding of networking standards, protocols, security and performance optimisationExperience with virtualisation technologies (VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V)Enterprise infrastructure and systems administration experienceAdditional InformationFull driving licence required (equipment transportation between sites may be necessary)All appointments are subject to pre-employment checks including references and a DBS checkWhy Join Willis Aviation Services Limited?WASL is a leading aviation services provider operating at Teesside International Airport.
