This role may include but is not limited to: supporting the customer in key delivery projects, providing professional and flexibletechnical supportto the delivery of construction related projects, ensuring that all engineer aspects of construction modifications, redesigns and new infrastructure are scoped, developed and delivered to meet operational requirements, safety standards and compliance obligations.Key Responsibilities:Providing advice on construction related mattersProviding input into various stages of the RIBA processProducing drawing information and specificationLiaising with key customer stakeholders and design teamInterfacing with statutory authoritiesArrange Site and Ground Investigations, undertakecondition surveysand interpret findings to create reports and remediation strategies where necessary.Alterations to existing structures including listed buildings, design of small scale new structures and Input into temporary support designWork ExperienceQualifications & ExperienceDegree in related disciplines accredited by Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).Hold Chartership with a governing body such as ICE.Typically,minimum of 10 years of relevant post-graduatecivil engineeringexperienceProven track record in delivering projects from RIBA stages 3 to 5Knowledge and experience working within RIBA stages 0 to 2 preferableStrong knowledge ofRevitand/or similar BIM capable software andproject deliveryto BIM level 2Proficiency in understanding/production ofengineering drawingsand specifications.Experience in checking and verification up to category 2 within civil/structure engineering.Ability to work in ambiguous environments, working with a customer-first approach and providing flexibility to changing requirements.Desirable Attributes:GoodCommunication skills- Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.Understanding of nuclear industry and/or other safety critical environments.
