Our Manton Wood site has a gym, restaurant with hot food and a staff shop available to all our colleagues.What you'll be doingTo ensure their line's compliance and adherence to relevant Technical and Operational processes and procedureTo support the line in maintaining the highest standards of product safety, quality, and demonstrating effective compliance with all legal requirementsTo comply with the site's management systems and all aspects of the company operations that have an influence on the quality and safety of the products we provide to our customersThese systems draw on the relevant aspects of the quality manual, to ensure the products supplied are safe and legal in accordance with current legislation including HACCPSample, test, audit and monitor to verify that all processes, procedures and products are being manufactured in a safe and compliant mannerConduct verification checks to ensure equipment is suitably calibrated to comply with required standardCollect all relevant samples, with adherence to procedures and protocols, to ensure quality, safety and legality of products sampledEnsure that a safe working environment exists for all colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the safety, health and environment policySupport the production line in its adherence to CCPsEnsure allergen segregation procedures are followed for; raw materials arriving at the line, through use and on return to Prep.Verify materials coming to the line comply with key safety parameters; shelf-life, temperaturesComplete line technical documents, such as weight check sheetsVerify materials coming to the line comply with key legal parameters, traceability information, labelling, product and material weightsComplete and record on-line quality taste panelsVerify correct production methods / procedure adherence; products specification and QAS document are in use on-lineComplete process confirmation activities around allergen and non-allergen cleandownsEscalation of Quality issuesComplete LCM 3% compliance checksVerify materials coming to the line comply with key quality parameters, such as visual appearanceSupport the line with collect and return of correct production and cleaning toolsProduct and equipment handling on their linesSupport the Line controller in challenging colleague compliance to key GMP and personal hygiene standards; such as PPE wearingWhat we're looking forWe're not all the same at Greencore and our differences help us to make every day taste better for all our stakeholders.
