Electrical Engineer (70/30 Elec Bias)Salary: £48,000 - £50,180 + Overtime (1.5x)Shift Pattern: Continental (4 on / 4 off - Days & Nights)We're looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a replacement role due to a leaver, and we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running within an established engineering team.The RoleYou'll be working on a wide range of heavy manufacturing equipment, carrying out fault finding, breakdowns and planned maintenance across the site.Key responsibilities include:PLC fault finding on Siemens and MitsubishiElectrical fault finding on sensors, relays and control panelsMaintenance and breakdown support on heavy machineryWorking on presses, crushers and gearboxesSupporting continuous improvement and site reliabilityElectrical bias is approximately 70% electrical / 30% mechanical.Experience, Skills & QualificationsWe're keen to speak to engineers with:Experience in a manufacturing environmentBackground in food manufacturing or food recycling (other manufacturing backgrounds considered)Strong electrical fault-finding capabilityNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical EngineeringA proactive, team-focused approachTeam & ProgressionJoin a department of 32 engineers, reporting into the Engineering ManagerClear opportunity to progress into a Team Leader role in the futureSupportive team structure with ongoing developmentShift Pattern & Hours6am - 6pmContinental shift pattern:4 days on / 4 off / 4 nights on / 4 offPackage & BenefitsSalary: £48,000 - £50,180 (top end dependent on experience)Overtime / Shift Allowance: Paid at 1.5xHolidays: 20 days + 8 bank holidaysPension: NESTLife Assurance: 3x salaryHealth Cover: Management level onlyCar/Van: Not providedTPBN1_UKTJ
