This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist looking to work within a well-equipped workshop environment with access to a range of machinery and processes.The successful candidate will have strong manual turning experience and be confident working with CNC equipment and other workshop machinery.Key Duties & Responsibilities Perform precision manual turning operations to engineering drawings and specificationsSet up and operate CNC machines where requiredCarry out balancing, grinding, milling, and welding tasks as part of the production processInterpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerancesConduct quality checks to ensure components meet required standardsMaintain machinery and ensure equipment is used safely and efficientlyWork collaboratively with other engineers and departments to meet production targetsFollow all health 'safety procedures at all times Essential Requirements Proven experience in manual turning (essential)Experience operating CNC machinesKnowledge of balancing, grinding, welding, and milling processesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood understanding of health 'safety in a workshop environment Desirable Formal engineering qualification (apprenticeship or equivalent)Experience working in a precision engineering or manufacturing environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
