We are actively recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer for asuccessful and established HVAC design and installation business. The head office is in Sheffield.The company is accredited to various recognised bodies including REFCOM Elite, CHAS, Safe contractor, and Constructionline.Key Duties:Experienced and time servedEngineer installing and working on a wide variety of commercial refrigerationand air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systemsWorking on a wide variety of centralised controllers, control panels and refrigeration controls/electrical circuitsCommissioning of large VRF/VRV and split air conditioning systemsAble to read drawings and schematicsEffectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutionsLiaisewith the projects department and company directors on a day to day basisCoordinate and control installations on siteWhere necessary liaise with the client to maintain excellent stakeholder relationshipsWork in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health 'safety processes and client specific site requirementsOn-call rota to support the business achieve its 24/7/365 response (this is currently 1 in 10)Ideal Candidate:Experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning EngineerIdeally NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioningYou will require to be F-Gas and ideally EN 378 compliantGood written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reportsHigh quality workmanshipYou will be confident in your own abilityFlexible to assist with call out rota, and if required out of normal working hours serviceOpen to work on all types of mechanical systems where requiredStrong problem solving skills anda can do attitudeGood electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuitsFull Driving LicenceThe role pays a £38,000 - £47,000 (depending on experience), plus bonus and overtime.
