Gas Engineer HaverhillJob descriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a fully qualified Gas Engineer to join a well-established heating, plumbing and bathroom-installations firm based in Haverhill, serving East London and surrounding areas. In this role, you will be the expert responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality gas installations and maintenance work across domestic properties. Your primary focus will be on installing new gas boilers (combi, system, and conventional models) and related heating systems, but you will also handle servicing, repairs, and all other gas-related work. You will travel to different customer sites, ensuring each job is completed to the highest standardon time, cleanly, and professionally. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, workmanship, and customer respect are paramount.Key Responsibilities:Install new gas boilers (combi, system, and conventional) and full heating systems in domestic propertiesPerform gas servicing, maintenance, and repairs on existing installationsConduct safe and compliant gas work in line with industry standards and regulationsTravel to multiple customer sites across East London and surrounding areas, based from HaverhillEnsure all work is completed to specification, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to customersMaintain a clean and professional approach at every job site, respecting customers' homes and propertyDiagnose and resolve heating system faults and issuesProvide clear communication and professional service to customers throughout each projectCandidate ProfileWe are looking for candidates who are fully qualified Gas Engineers with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in domestic gas installations and maintenance. You should have a strong can-do attitude, take pride in flawless workmanship, and be passionate about delivering quality results. You are reliable, professional, and genuinely care about getting the job done right. You work well independently and are comfortable managing your own schedule and site visits. You possess excellent communication skills and treat every customer's home with respect and professionalism.
