Job Description

Were looking for a Capital Works Project Manager to lead major energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes, including insulation, ASHPs, PV and wider capital works. Your work will directly help residents live in better-quality homes while supporting our goals of EPC C by 2030 and net zero by 2050.This is a hybrid role based in our office in High Wycombe, Bucks where you will work for at least 2 days per week, which is particularly important in terms of colleague collaboration. We're investing £10 million a year to upgrade and future proof our homescutting carbon, reducing fuel bills, and improving comfort for the people and communities we serve.What youll doDeliver capital and retrofit projects from inception to completionEnsure compliance with H&S, CDM 2015 and Decent Homes StandardBuild strong relationships with contractors to drive value and qualityMonitor budgets, performance, customer satisfaction and H&S outcomesBring innovation and emerging technologies into our programmesVisit sites, manage contractors and ensure issues are resolved quicklyContribute to continuous improvement across the Property directorateWhat youll bringMust haves:Experience delivering large-scale property capital works (5+ years)Strong knowledge of JCT procurement, H&S and property surveysAbility to lead, influence and drive high standardsStrong analytical, organisational and communication skillsPassion for delivering high quality services for residentsSMTS (Site Management Training Scheme)A full driving licence and regular access to a vehicle (business mileage will be paid at the 45p per mile less home to work commute in line with our policy).Nice to haves:CIOB, RICS or similar professional qualificationWhy this role mattersEvery project you deliver helps someone live in a safer, warmer, more affordable home.
