Precision AQ is growing! We are looking for an exceptional Senior Account Director to join our Healthcare Advertising team in the UK. This is a remote position with possibility to work from one of our offices in London or Salisbury.SummaryThe Senior Account Director (SAD) oversees major client accounts; they lead client strategy, guide project execution from brief to completion, and foster strong, long‑term client relationships. The role requires collaborating across teams, setting priorities, managing resources, and inspiring internal and external stakeholders. The SAD also leads pitches, drives organic growth, and identifies new business opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesClient LeadershipOwn and lead multiple client accounts and overall client relationshipsProvide strategic direction and lead client briefs, meetings, and annual planning.Ensure high‑quality project delivery, creative excellence, and client satisfaction.Maintain strong industry/therapeutic knowledge and proactively pursue organic growth.Financial ManagementEnsure account profitability through accurate budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring hours vs. budget.Oversee project timelines, resource needs, and financial processes (POs, invoicing, reconciliations).Report key financial and team data to senior leadership.Team & Operational ManagementLine manage and develop junior team members (PMs, PDs, ADs).Identify training needs, share expertise, and uphold compliance with relevant codes of practice.Manage external service providers and support implementation of agency policies.New BusinessIdentify and convert new opportunities within existing and new clients.Lead new business pitches and support credentials meetingsLeverage network and past contacts to generate new leads.OtherTravel for client meetings as neededAdhere to all legal, compliance, H&S, and information security requirements.Requirements7–10 years’ experience in advertising, ideally in a healthcare advertising agencyDemonstrated experience working across global, regional, and domestic markets, with the ability to tailor strategies to different geographies and organisational structures.Exceptional communication and leadership skillsPrevious line management experienceAny data provided as a part of this application will be stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
