This is a hands-on role that combines skilled driving with essential administrative responsibilities and customer interaction.As our Class 2 Tipper Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tipper vehicles while maintaining the high standards of professionalism that our clients expect from Furness Haulage.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & OperationsSafely operate Class 2 tipper vehicles on various routesConduct thorough pre and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure loads are properly secured and legal limits are maintainedNavigate efficiently to delivery/collection points using route planningMaintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects immediatelyAdministrative DutiesComplete all required paperwork accurately and promptlyMaintain delivery documentation and consignment notesRecord driver hours and maintain compliant driving recordsHandle waste transfer notes and other regulatory documentationSubmit timesheets and expense claims as requiredCustomer ServiceCommunicate professionally with customers at all timesProvide clear updates on delivery schedules when requiredHandle any site-specific requirements or access issuesRepresent Furness Haulage professionally at all customer locationsResolve minor delivery issues through effective communicationWhat We're Looking ForEssential RequirementsValid Class 2 (Category C) driving licencewith minimal penalty pointsProven tipper truck experience- we need someone who knows the jobStrong communication skillsfor customer interactionPaperwork proficiency- comfortable with documentation and record-keepingProfessional attitudeand smart appearanceFlexibilitywith working hours and routesCPC qualification(Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)Desirable QualificationsDigital tachograph experienceHIAB/crane operation experience(training can be provided)Construction site experienceWaste carrier registrationknowledgeClean driving recordwith commercial vehiclesWhat We Offer:??
