Are youconfident in making decisionsthat will benefit a child in their learning journey?At Team Educate we are working closely with a primary school in the Bristol area, who are looking to recruit a behaviour mentor to join their team to support a child on a 1:1 basis. You will be working alongside a class teacher within classes of up to 30 students.This is afull-time positionbetween 8.30- 15.30, Monday to Friday with an ideal start inFebruary 2026.As 1:1 behacviour mentor, you will assist with lesson delivery where appropriate for your student and contribute positively to the overall management of the classroom. You will have support from the class teacher as well as the senior leadership team.Duties of a Primary School Behaviour Mentor:Supporting students on a 1:1 basis within the classroom environment.Providing additional support to students who may be falling behind academicallyWork alongside the class teacher to collate resources for lessons and set up learning activitiesSupporting the class teacher with additional administration tasks to maintain efficiency in the classroomExperience required of a Primary School Behaviour MentorRelevant qualifications to the roleExperience within a classroom setting or in working with childrenGood communication, organisation and interpersonal skillsExperience of working with children with SEN (beneficial but not essential)The Role:Position: Behaviour MentorDuration:Full Time (Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30)Pay Rate: £95-£115 per DayStart date: April 2025The successful applicant will be required to have:A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to put an application throughA right to work in the UKA passion for teaching and learning2 years worth of contactable referencesIf you are interested in the above position and would like to hear more, please submit your CV and one of our team will be in touch!Why Work with Team Educate?We are a committed agency who are devoted to the best interests of both our partnering schools and candidates.
