With expertise in lighting design, installation, project management, maintenance and the integration of smart technologies, we manage over one million street lights across the UK and help towns and cities become safer, smarter, greener and more efficient.Could you be our nextCivils Operativeto join the team and drive this success forwards?What will I be doing in this role?In a typical day, you could expect to be;Replacing or Installing new street lighting apparatus and furniture, this could be street light columns, signposts or traffic signal polesOperating a Hiab crane to load and unload materialsExcavating and re-instating the highway to streetworks specificationsCompleting on-site risk assessments and setting up traffic management for the siteEnsuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public Working to strict safety guidelines and regulationsWhat do I need to be successful in the role?We work in all weathers! So you need to be the type of person who is happy working outdoors all year round.We do need you to have a full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locationsBe able to operate plant and machinery safelyA background in working in CivilsWilling to participate on the on-call rota to attend emergencies out of hoursAble to use a hand-held tablet to receive jobs and log repair reports.Some of our nice to haves are;Experience inpublic lighting,highways maintenance, orinfrastructure worksHiab crane trainingHGV LicenceUnderstanding of electrical safety on siteStreetworks qualificationsWe can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the nice to have listHere at Enerveo, we know that some applicants dont apply unless they think they tick all the boxes- but we are saying dont worry!
