Senior Quantity Surveyor (Contract Outside IR35) AMP8 CivilsA specialist cost consultancy is recruiting a Contract Senior Quantity Surveyor (Outside IR35) to support major AMP8 civil engineering, water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK.This Contract Senior QS / Senior Quantity Surveyor role sits firmly in the civils sector, delivering full commercial and cost management services on long-term AMP8 frameworks. The position is ideal for experienced contract Quantity Surveyors seeking an Outside IR35 role within civils and water infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors on AMP8 civils projectsFull cost management from feasibility through to final accountCost planning, forecasting, reporting and cash flow managementAdvising on procurement strategy, tendering and contract documentation (BoQs)Risk and value management and cost controlClient-facing cost reporting to senior stakeholdersCommercial support on subcontractors, variations and contractual claimsEnsure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standardsSkills & Experience Required:Proven experience as a Contract Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior QSStrong background in civils, water or utilities infrastructureExperience working on AMP frameworks (AMP6, AMP7 or AMP8)Consultancy or client-side experienceExcellent knowledge of construction contractsWhy Apply:Outside IR35 contractLong-term AMP8 civils and water infrastructure workCompetitive day rateHybrid and flexible working options??
