A global manufacturing company is seeking experienced CNC Setter / Operator (Turning) to work at their modern manufacturing site in Nottingham. You will be responsible for operating and setting CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.A selection of Shifts are available from: Monday to Friday - Mornings and Afternoons,Monday to Friday - Permanent AfternoonsSunday to Thurs - Permanent Night Shift. Benefits: £32k to £38k (dependent on skills, higher £s require CNC programming experience)PLUS Shift PremiumCompany Bonus Scheme (up to 5% of annual salary) 10% on Afternoon shift hoursOR 20% on perm Night shifts 25 Days Holidays plus bank holidaysModern, clean facilityAccess to onsite gym and Subsidised canteen Shifts:Rotating Mornings and Afternoons Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm, and Fri 6am to 1pmWeek 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm and Friday 1pm to 8pm Afternoons only Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm and Friday 1pm to 8pm Nights only Sun 11pm – 6am, Mon to Thurs 10pm – 6am Key responsibilities of CNC Setter / Operator: Set / operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Turning MachinesAdjust machine controls (Fanuc and Mazatrol) and tool settings to keep part dimensions within specified tolerancesWork from CAD designs and specifications to complete various machining operations using information such as dimensions, tolerances, quantities, and any special instructionsResponsible for own quality using CMM and shadowgraph machinesAlter offsets according to SPC resultsParticipate in Lean / Six Sigma activities and other process improvement activities CNC Setter / Operator Knowledge and Skills Required: Ability to use measuring equipment and interpret drawingsGood knowledge of CNC Turning machines and ability to set up toolingAbility to use simple gauges or instrumentsWorking knowledge of maths in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work well in a team environmentExperience of working with Fanuc and Mazatrol controlled CNC machinery (desirable) If you have the required skills and qualifications for the CNC Setter / Operator role and would relish an exciting challenge, please apply or contact Stuart Cooper to discuss in further detail.
