Painting / Coatings Supervisor (Black Hat)Permanent £85,000Department ConstructionWe are looking for a supervisor that will be responsible for Piping Spools & related steel / support painting activities, planning, organising the painting teams and reporting.Main Responsibilities- Ensure the requirements of EN and PED are satisfied- Report on the performance of the painting activities to the Construction Manager.- Responsible for ensuring that all personnel in the group are aware of each Project's quality and HSE requirement- Ensure that painting works are performed in accordance with the requirements contract, specifications, approved procedures, method statements, design, ITPs, codes and standards, regulations.- Responsible to clean the categorized punch list.- Monitor painters performances and provide reports on their job performance- Monitor painting defects and initiate corrective actions where required- Supervise painters in performing the painting activities.- Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.- Comply with the COSHH assessments- Coordination of construction activities with Hydrotest Supervisor & Scaffolding Coordinator.- Ensure painters and insulators are certified against stipulated requirements and competent- Ensure that the painting materials are loaded, unloaded, stocked in a safe and secure place.Skill and qualificationsMinimum 10 years experience in a similar positionAdvanced English skillsKnowledge on standardsTTP Coatings Supervisor CardCan achieve Security Clearance (BPSS)Hold or Can achieve CCNSG Safety Passport or HS&E test for supervisorsTPBN1_UKTJ
