Nuclear Supply Chain ManagerSalary: £100,000 + car allowance + packageLocation: Hinkley Point CJob Type: Full-time, 37 hours/weekWorking Pattern: Monday-Friday, with regular travel to client offices, supplier facilities and project sitesAbout the RoleBe part of a major New Nuclear programme supporting the UK's Net Zero ambitions. We're looking for a Nuclear Supply Chain Manager to lead the development, qualification and assurance of a high-integrity supply chain that underpins safe, compliant and cost-effective delivery on nationally significant nuclear projects.This senior role is ideal for someone with strong supply chain expertise in regulated environments, combined with deep understanding of nuclear quality assurance, safety culture and supplier capability management.What You'll Do as a Nuclear Supply Chain ManagerAct as the organisation's subject matter expert for nuclear supply chain managementDevelop, implement and maintain a fully nuclear-compliant supply chain strategyLead supplier and subcontractor qualification, audits and approvals in line with ISO 19443, ISO 9001 and nuclear QA standardsEnsure robust application of nuclear quality requirements including grading, hold points, LTQRs and traceabilityEstablish supply chain performance metrics covering quality, delivery, cost and complianceImplement assurance, surveillance and continuous improvement programmesManage Counterfeit, Fraudulent and Suspect Items (CFSI) prevention and reportingLiaise directly with client and licensee procurement/QA teams to ensure alignment of standards and documentationSupport Engineering, Quality and Commercial teams in verifying supplier documentation and manufacturing recordsProvide strategic sourcing support and supply chain capability mapping to project delivery teamsLead supply chain readiness reviews and manufacturing surveillance activitiesMaintain supply chain policies, procedures and governance to support the nuclear businessFoster long-term supplier relationships to strengthen nuclear delivery capabilityWhat You'll Bring as a Nuclear Supply Chain ManagerDegree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering or related disciplineProfessional accreditation such as CIPS/MCIPS (desirable)Proven supply chain management experience within nuclear, defence or similarly regulated sectorsStrong understanding of nuclear QA systems, LTQRs and safety cultureExperience in supplier qualification, auditing and compliance managementAbility to lead cross-functional teams in high-integrity project environmentsExcellent engagement and stakeholder management skillsCommitment to continuous improvement, ethical sourcing and high standards of quality and safetyFor more information, please contact Mitchell Rogers on 07718 185869.--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
