MedGen Healthcare is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with a range of general health needs.This role involves working with children and adolescents in community settings who may require support with complex care needs, or additional physical support.Location:WitneyJob Types:Full-time | Part-time | Temporary (Ongoing)The Role Support children and young people with daily living activities, including personal care, washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding where required.Assist with mobility and positioning, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.Monitor and record vital signs (e.g. temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation) as directed.Assist with medication administration (where trained and authorised).Encourage participation in age-appropriate play, education, and social activities.Offer reassurance and emotional support to children who may feel anxious about medical procedures or hospital environments.Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in a childs condition promptly.Promote a safe, clean, and child-friendly environment.Requirements Minimum 3 years UK healthcare experience.Experience working with children and adolescents.Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).What Were Looking ForUnderstanding of child safeguarding and professional boundaries.Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.Calm, patient, and caring approach.What We OfferCompetitive pay rates £17.50 - £22.25 per hour.Flexible shifts to suit your availability.A rewarding role making a genuine difference in childrens lives.Why Join MedGen Healthcare?MedGen Healthcare is a CQC-regulated provider delivering high-quality care across the community, from non-complex to highly complex packages.We value our support workers and recognise the essential role you play in delivering safe and compassionate care.
