This is about understanding how power systems integrate into working vehicles, ambulances, utility fleets, defence platforms and specialist builds.The CompanyWith over 35 years of engineering expertise, our client designs and supplies advanced electrical power systems and onboard power solutions across the specialist vehicle, defence and marine sectors.Their systems are integrated into everything from emergency response vehicles and commercial fleets to military platforms and high-performance specialist vehicles.As demand grows within the specialist vehicle and fleet markets, they are looking for a commercially driven, technically credible Technical Sales Executive to develop business across the North of England.The RoleYou will be responsible for:Winning new business with Vehicle OEMs, converters and Fleet OperatorsGrowing and developing existing accountsUnderstanding vehicle platforms and electrical architecturesAdvising customers on integrated onboard power solutionsWorking closely with engineering teams to deliver technically sound proposalsManaging your pipeline and reporting through CRMThis is a field-based role (approx. 30% travel) with regular engagement with customers across the North and periodic visits to the Exeter HQ.What They NeedThis role will suit someone who has:Sold within fleet management, vehicle conversions or specialist automotive environmentsExperience with vehicle racking systems, auxiliary battery packs, DC systems, inverters, charging technology or power managementWorked with ambulance builders, blue-light fleets, utilities fleets, defence vehicle programmes or specialist convertersThe ability to confidently discuss technical integration, installation environments and vehicle electrical systemsA track record of developing new business while nurturing long-term client relationshipsYou must be commercially driven, technically curious and comfortable operating independently in a field-based role.About YouSelf-starting and proactiveTechnically credible, able to speak confidently with engineers and fleet managersStrong relationship builderSolutions-focused rather than product-ledBased in or around Birmingham / Midlands / Northern EnglandFull UK Driving LicenceIf you understand how power systems integrate into real-world vehicle platforms and you enjoy building long-term commercial relationships in a technical environment wed love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
