This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Lead Sign Fitter looking for long-term, stable work with nationwide projects.Salary & BenefitsBasic salary: £46,000 per annumOvertime: Time and a half after 8 hours per dayNight work: All night contracts paid at time and a halfCompany van, fuel card, ipad, mobile phone and all tools providedAccommodation and meal allowance paid when working awayKey Responsibilities Lead Sign FitterLead and manage on-site signage installations as the Lead Sign Fitter and main point of contactInstall a wide range of signage, including:o Flexface signageo Totem signso Built-up letterso Illuminated and non-illuminated signageo Wayfinding and internal signageo Hoardings and large-format graphicsRead and interpret CAD drawings, proposal drawings, site plans and specificationsCarry out detailed site surveysWork in line with signed RAMS, adjusting RAMS to suit site changes on arrivalEnsure strict compliance with health 'safety regulationsSupervise, mentor and support junior fitters and subcontractorsCoordinate access equipment (MEWPs, scaffolding, lifts)Maintain tools, equipment and company vehiclesCommunicate effectively with clients, contractors and internal teamsResolve on-site issues and maintain project timelinesComplete daily installation reports and job sign-offsDrive company vans and vehicles with access equipmentEssential Skills & Experience Lead Sign FitterProven experience as a Lead Sign Fitter or Senior Signage FitterHands-on experience installing all types of internal and external signageStrong knowledge of signage materials, fixings and installation methodsConfident working at height and managing complex installationsAbility to lead teams and work independently on siteFull UK driving licence (max 6 points, aged 25+ for insurance purposes)CSCS Card EssentialIPAF EssentialPASMA EssentialDesirable QualificationsSSSTSSMSTSPersonal AttributesProfessional and client-facingStrong leadership and communication skillsSafety-focused with excellent attention to detailReliable, punctual and adaptableWilling to travel nationwideFlexible with shifts (days or nights depending upon projects)Flexible to work away from homeJBRP1_UKTJ
