Panel Beater / MET TechnicianEssexWe're currently working with a well established automotive business in Essex that is looking to add a skilled Panel Beater/MET Technician to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a variety of repair tasks and takes pride in preparing vehicles to a high retail standard.You will be responsible for restoring vehicle bodyworks to its original condition after damage due to collisions, accidents, or wear and tear. This includes removing damaged panels, repairing structural components, fitting and finishing replacement parts.Key Responsibilities: (Previous experience is essential)Using the appropriate repair methodsRemove damaged panels and parts using tools such as welders, grinders, and cutting equipmentFit and weld replacement panels into placeEnsure all repairs meet quality and safety standardsCollaborate with estimators, spray painters and other team members to ensure timely completion of work.Maintain a clean and safe working environmentATA would be advantageous to your applicationFull qualifications to NVQ Level 3 or equivalentAn efficient and hard-working Panel Beater with good attention to detailA good communicatorAbout You:Full qualifications to NVQ Level 3 or equivalentPrevious experience is essentialSalary and Benefits:£45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum (depending on experience)Company pensionOn site parkingWorking hours:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (plus overtime and Saturday on occasions)If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you, please apply with an up to date CV and we will be in touch to discuss your application further.Who are you applying to?The Solution Automotive Recruitment have been placing candidates into the UK Motor Trade since 1999.
