The Mller brand is in The Grocers Top 100 list of Britains Biggest Brands, and is also the 7th most chosen brand in the UK.Job description:Building Services TechnicianSevernsidePermanent contract:Monday-FridayThe primary role of a Facilities Technician is to optimize property conditions, service and standards whilst keeping a safe working environment for all on site. The Facilities Technician will maintain a high level of quality, providing maximum satisfaction to all stakeholders, providing 1st fix response to fault finding with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry anddecorating skills.Key responsibilities:Carry out repairs and reactive maintenanceResponsible for monitoring and recording Data on Facilities equipment, including Boilers, Air Compressors and Cooling Equipment.Assist in Site Compliance, including Contractor Control, PTW, Insurance Inspections, Legionella.Carry out repairs to the fabric of a building, for example repairs to walls, doors, door frames, skirting boards or plaster damage to internal wallsUnderstand and maintain plumbing and drainage systems, for example repairs to WC systems, leaking taps or water testing and unblocking drainsMaintain high levels of water hygiene within a buildingBasic electrical competencies, for example replacing damaged sockets, plugs, lighting and fuses.Demonstrate and implement energy, environment and sustainable practicesMaintain grounds and external fabrication of a building, such as drainage and gutteringThe safe use of hand tools, for example screwdrivers, power drills, pliers, paper strippers and a variety other tools used in plumbing and carpentryDemonstrate and understand the importance of the control of resources and stockUnderstand and demonstrate the principles of Planned Preventative MaintenancePrepare for refurbishment or deep clean of equipment and surfacesSupport and prepare any office moves or individual requirementsSupport the quality team in completing any low level pest proofing requirementsSkills and Experience required to be a Facilities Technician at Muller:NVQ in Plumbing idealGeneral building competencies such as electrical, carpentry, painting and decoratingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEffective communicatorWhats in it for you?Competitive salaryCompany pensionMuller rewards platformFree onsite secured colleague car parkingAnnual bonus25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPaid overtime#hiring #applynowJBRP1_UKTJ
