If joining us as a member of staff, we will support your professional development in an exciting and challenging work environment that will enable you to use, develop and hone your technical expertise in a supportive and collaborative working environment.The RoleTo competently perform the duties of a qualified technician as part of a team engaged in the installation, modifications, maintenance, repair, testing and trials of all types of systems and equipment as instructed by Project Manager / Supervisor / Project Engineer, in accordance with relevant drawings and Safe Systems of Work.Perform technician tasks encountered in activities such as:InstallationOperations (including testing and trials)Maintenance and repairCarry out support installation, modification, EMIT (examination, maintenance, inspection & test), decommissioning tasks as requiredWork from schematics / diagrams / drawings to install equipmentInstall systems and equipment in such a way as to comply with any relevant regulatory or legislative requirementsComplete and maintain as necessary all associated records and documentationQualifications and SkillsCompletion of a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent trainingCity and Guilds Level 3 certification in Electrical EngineeringIET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations QualificationExperience in electrical installation, examination, maintenance, inspection & test, decommissioningFamiliar with site / factory work environmentsFully conversant with IEE RegulationsWork experience within engineering, science or construction environmentFamiliar with working on nuclear licensed site or similar with specific hazards / operationsJBRP1_UKTJ
