Known for our reliability and high standards, we support independent garages, dealerships and MOT centres with fast, professional engineering services.The RoleAs a Garage Equipment Engineer, you will carry out service, repair, installation and calibration work on a wide range of workshop equipment. Youll be field-based, visiting customer sites across Berkshire and ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and performing at its best.Your key responsibilities include:Servicing and repairing vehicle lifts, compressors, tyre changers, wheel balancers and brake testersInstalling new equipment and completing commissioning documentationCarrying out LOLER/PUWER inspections and producing accurate reportsDiagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsCommunicating clearly and professionally with customersEnsuring all work meets safety and compliance standardsManaging your own workload and travel between sitesWhat Youll NeedYoull thrive in this role if you have:Experience working with garage equipment (e.g., Ravaglioli, Hofmann, Tecalemit, Bradbury, Rotary)Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skillsConfidence working with single-phase and three-phase systemsKnowledge of LOLER, PUWER and MOT equipment regulationsA full UK driving licenceThe ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer serviceA positive, professional approach to your workWhy Join UsCompetitive salary + overtimeCompany van, tools and uniform providedOngoing training and developmentSupportive team and long-term job securityVaried work with no two days the sameAdditional InformationSome out-of-hours work may be requiredOccasional travel across Berkshire and nearby countiesTraining provided for specialist equipment and certificationsJBRP1_UKTJ
