A fantastic opportunity awaits as we are currently seeking TIG Welders to join a leading manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.What will I be paid?Hourly rate: Starting at £14.01 per hour up to £16.61. Overtime is paid at increased rates.What will I be doing as a TIG Welder?Welding components in stainless and mild steel using TIG or gas fusion welding techniquesReading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld symbols to meet customer specificationsUsing jigs, fixtures, and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and minimise scrapCompleting check sheets for traceability in line with standardsMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environmentReporting any issues, defects, or safety concerns to the Team Leader promptlyWhat skills and experience do I need?Experience in welding techniques, particularly TIG or gas fusion welding, up to 2mm thick (stainless steel)Ability to work from Standard Operating Procedures and use jigs/fixtures for quality controlHealth and Safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environmentStrong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindsetEnthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented attitudeAbility to read engineering drawings and weld symbolsExperience in a manufacturing or factory environmentReliable transport to reach siteWorking hours:Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:30 (with potential for overtime)How to Apply:This is an ongoing recruitment campaign managed by Pertemps, who operate as an employment agency.
