Sales Executive RoleSteel & Aluminium DistributionLocation: Co.ArmaghFull-Time | Competitive Salary | Career ProgressionThe OpportunityI am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing steel and aluminium supplier that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a driven Sales Executive Role.This is a high-impact, sales-focused role with clear responsibility for generating new business while also developing and expanding existing accounts. The company has an excellent reputation within the metals sector and is looking for someone who can build on that foundation and accelerate growth.The Role – Key ObjectivesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Driving new business acquisition across target marketsDeveloping and maximising revenue from existing customer accountsBuilding strong relationships with fabricators, manufacturers, and construction-related businessesIdentifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across the product rangeNegotiating pricing, contracts, and supply agreementsManaging a structured sales pipeline and delivering against agreed revenue targetsWorking closely with internal operations and purchasing teams to ensure service excellenceThis is very much a BDM-led role suited to someone commercially astute, proactive, and results-driven.The Ideal CandidateMy client is seeking someone who:Has a proven background in sales/business developmentIdeally has experience within steel, aluminium, metals, construction, or industrial distributionIs confident in both “hunter” (new business) and “farmer” (account development) sales approachesIs highly motivated, target-driven, and resilientHas strong negotiation and relationship-building skillsCan operate independently while contributing to a team environmentWhat’s on OfferCompetitive basic salaryPerformance related bonusPension schemeClear progression opportunitiesSupportive leadership and strong operational backingWhy Apply?This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable but ambitious business where sales performance is recognised and rewarded.
