Assistant Quantity SurveyorLocation: Warrington & North WestSalary: £35,000 £40,000 + competitive packageOur client is a well-established main contractor delivering a major construction scheme in the North West. Due to continued progress on site, they are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on a large, complex project based in the Warrington area.This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant QS looking to gain exposure to a flagship scheme while working alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager.The RoleAs Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of the project, supporting cost control and subcontractor management throughout the build lifecycle. Responsibilities will include:Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting and budget controlSupporting the procurement and management of subcontract packagesPreparing and assessing subcontractor applications and paymentsAssisting with variations, valuations and final accountsWorking closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial best practiceMaintaining accurate commercial records and documentationAbout YouDegree or HNC/HND qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineExperience working as an Assistant QS within a main contracting environmentStrong understanding of construction commercial processesConfident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a teamMotivated, detail-oriented and keen to progress your careerWhats on OfferSalary between £35,000 £40,000, dependent on experienceAttractive benefits packageLong-term project stability with a reputable contractorStructured support and career development opportunitiesThis role would suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to step up their responsibility on a high-profile project with a forward-thinking contractor.JBRP1_UKTJ
