We are specialist service providers to the vehicle manufacturing industry and their supply chains, and this is an excellent opportunity for you to join our growing team of contractors.A Vehicle Technician must be an all-rounder who can perform a full range of tasks on vehicle re-works. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt to various job tasks, e.g. removal and refit, removal and refitting of interior trims, light mechanical work and general modifications to original vehicle build, exterior trim work and minor mechanical / electrical work.Various tasks on Vehicle Re-works: Fit and strip both mechanical and body parts from vehicles including body panel, interiors, gear boxes etc. as well as remove engines, and suspensionsAccessing and removing damaged componentsReplacing ComponentsLogging all repairs either manually or on a digital data system, detailing the work doneTo perform all work assigned in a timely manner, economically and to Manufacturers standardsCarry out work within a realistic time, be this time either manufacturers, locally negotiated or a combination of both or by agreed schedules of workTo record all times and attendance hours to facilitate paymentQualifications and ExperienceLevel 3 IMI or equivalent in Light vehicle maintenance and repair.Experience working on components of modern light motor vehiclesExperience in an automotive environment is essentialA full category B driving licence is essentialMust have own range of Mechanical toolsOur Hourly Rate from £15.00 per hour to £24.94 per hourThis work is contract work - Limited Company or Umbrella.We are a Forces friendly employer, and welcome applications from the Armed Forces community.E-ppl Limited is an equal opportunities organisation.
