The role involves delivering items such as sofas, armchairs, and other upholstered furniture to various locations across the UK. Typical routes may include areas such as Kendal, Chester, Coventry, and Birmingham, with up to six drops per day.Although the items are large, manual handling is minimised as youll be using trolleys and handling equipment to manoeuvre products safely.Key responsibilities:Deliver furniture products to customers across multiple UK locationsComplete up to six drops per day depending on the routeLoad and unload goods using appropriate equipmentProvide excellent customer service during deliveriesEnsure safe handling and transportation of all itemsMaintain delivery of paperwork and recordsWhat we are looking for:Minimum 1 year Class 1 experienceAbility to start early (5:30am)Physically capable of manoeuvring furniture using trolleys/equipmentReliability and strong work ethicWhy work with Driver Hire:Driver Hire Doncaster is part of Driver Hire Nationwide, the UKs largest specialist transport and logistics recruiter.
