Position: Multiskilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: ElySalary: £40,000-£50,000Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer required for a corrugated packaging manufacturer based in Ely. The candidate will need be electrical and mechanically skilled and live within a commutable distance.The successful candidate will be expected to have:Experience in corrugated packaging, paper, FMCG, or high-speed production environments preferredStrong fault-finding and repair skills across:Electrical systems (3-phase motors, inverters, sensors, control panels)Mechanical systems (bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics)Working knowledge of PLC systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for fault diagnosisExperience maintaining corrugators, die cutters, folder gluers, printers, stackers, or conveyors advantageousCompetent with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown responseMultiskilled Maintenance Engineer RequirementsTime-served apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic EngineeringRelevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC or equivalent)Electrical certification (e.g. 18th Edition or equivalent) desirableAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC diagramsMultiskilled Maintenance Engineer Salary & BenefitsSalary - £40,000-£50,000Double Days, Rotating Shift PatternWeek 1. Monday to Thursday 06.00am - 2.00pm, Friday 05.00am - 12.00Week 2.
