An excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established company!Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.Salary: Competitive Salary of Up To £17.82 Per Hour - £26.73 Overtime Rate (£34,285 PA), Depending on Experience.Location: Macclesfield SK11.Schedule: Monday -Thursday between 6 am and 5 pm Friday between 6am and 4 pmThe Company:With over 50 years experience in the design and manufacture of precision components, they are a sub-contract engineering company based in the heart of Cheshire, North West England specialising in the supply of high-quality machined components in a variety of materials, using the latest CNC technology.They are looking for a skilled CNC Miller Setter Programmer, to join their dedicated team.About The Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling machines to produce high-quality precision componentsReview technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate programming and setupPerform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safetyCarry out other machining disciplines and tasks within your capabilities as directed by your immediate supervisorEnsure all work is completed to a high standard and meets production deadlinesMaintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all safety regulationsUndertake any necessary training as required by the company to enhance skills and meet future job requirementsCollaborate effectively with team members and management to resolve any production issuesAccept and implement constructive feedback from management to improve work performanceCandidate Requirements:Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with a strong background in programming, setting, and operating CNC machinesProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsFamiliarity with CNC programming languages and softwareStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision and make decisions independentlyExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workGood communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to undergo further training as required by the companyCompany Benefits:Additional leaveCompany eventsCompany pensionCycle to work schemeFlexitimeFree flu jabsOn-site parkingProfit sharingSick pay37 hours per week, plus overtime, the company offer the option of working a four-day week.5 weeks holiday, plus bank holidays.If you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.The employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
