The team is growing, and theyre looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving technical problems on site.The RoleAs a Catering Equipment Engineer, youll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment. Youll work on gas-fired appliances and will need to be confident working on Rational combi ovens.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintenance and repair of commercial catering equipmentWorking on gas appliances including ovens, grills, fryers and dishwashersSpecialist work on Rational combi ovensDiagnosing faults and carrying out reactive repairsCompleting planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Ensuring all work meets gas safety and manufacturer standardsCompleting service reports and documentation accuratelyDelivering excellent customer service on every visitSkills, Experience & Abilities Youll NeedCOMCAT qualifications (1, 2, 3 & 5 preferred)Rational training/experience is essentialStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience working on a wide range of commercial kitchen equipmentAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadFull UK driving licenceA proactive, customer-focused approachWhat Youll ReceiveUp to £40,000 depending on experienceOvertime and call-out opportunitiesCompany van, fuel card, tools and uniformOngoing manufacturer training (including Rational updates)25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension scheme and additional company benefitsAdditional InformationSome out-of-hours work may be required depending on client needsTravel will be within the North West regionJBRP1_UKTJ
