JDR are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment within the Bagging Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience who is looking to progress and develop within a growing production business.Shift PatternWeek 1:Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00Friday: 06:00 - 12:00Week 2:Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00Friday: 12:00 - 18:00The RoleAs Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring production targets and KPIs are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.Key responsibilities include:Operating and maintaining production linesProducing daily plans and organising team activitiesDriving continuous improvement and optimising machine running timesAssisting with machine maintenance tasksWorking closely with supervisory staff and production managementLeading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environmentOrdering materials and completing monthly stock takesThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience supervising or managing a teamMachine operative experience (food manufacturing experience desirable)Technically minded with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and people skillsComputer literateStrong work ethic, reliable and committedFlexible to meet departmental needsAble to work under pressureWhat's on Offer£14.99 per hour starting rate£1.79 per hour shift allowancePay increase once fully trainedOpportunity for progression within a stable manufacturing environmentIf you are an experienced Team Leader looking for your next opportunity, apply today with your CV.unity, apply today with your CV.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
