Role: HGV Class 2 HIAB DriverSalary: £18.56 per hour Weekly Pay (£16.56 with accrued holiday pay)Location: East/South Manchester covering Salford, Trafford Park and Greater ManchesterWork Pattern: Full time, Monday Friday (expected 35-40 hours per week + Optional Weekend Overtime)We are currently seeking an enthusiastic HGV 2 Class 2 HIAB Driver (MUST BE ALLMI C5+E) for a large well know builders merchant to deliver to business, residential and commercial/construction sites in and around Salford, Trafford Park, and Greater Manchester. If you are successful, you will complete 2 days face to face training on site and complete 10 days shadowing another driver (on FULL pay) to ensure you are confident and fully trained.HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver duties will include:Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic lawsConducting required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural complianceMaintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progressCompleting paperwork accurately as instructedOur HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver will needHIAB Operator Certificate (MUST BE ALLMI C5+E) with BRICK GRAB and REMOTECat C Licence (Category C - Class 2)Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cardNo more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)Full UK Driving licence, held for 2-yearAble to work to tight deadlinesBeen driving professionally for the last 2 years, with no gapsHGV Class 2 HIAB Driver BenefitsCompany PensionWeekly PayOn-Site ParkingDriver Hire, the UKs largest specialist transport & logistics recruitment company, have been engaged by a major European company to recruit their HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers, based in Manchester.
