Care Home Peripatetic Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead (RN)Hours: 40 hours per weekSalary: £55,000 plus fuel allowance and £2000 Welcome BonusLocation: Covering Care Homes in Wiltshire area (Including Warminster, Chippenham, Salisbury, and TrowbridgeABOUT THE ROLEAs a Care Home Peripatetic Deputy Manager (Clinical), youll travel across your region to manage and develop the teams in various care homes, to help us deliver the high-quality care and service were known for. Working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager, youll help implement action plans that make sure our residents needs are met.Taking on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager, you can expect to help with everything from care standards to motivating your team. Youll inspire a multidisciplinary team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example by monitoring standards through regular audits, supervising clinical practice and checking our regulatory compliance. Youll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals.ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Peripatetic Deputy Manager (Clinical), youll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Previous experience working within a nursing home setting is essential and evidence of continual professional development is also required. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. Well also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
