Do you thrive on managing customer relationships, driving continuous improvement, and protecting brand integrity?We're looking for a Technical Technologist to support our Technical Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional Quality, Food Safety, Legality, Sustainability, Ethical and Technical standards across our production and supply base.About the RoleThis is a varied, hands-on role where you'll act as the primary technical contact for key customer accounts, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and growers to ensure products consistently meet both customer and business standards.You'll be at the heart of technical compliance, performance monitoring, and innovation - from supplier due diligence and audits to NPD support and seasonal crop reviews.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Technical Manager in maintaining high standards across quality, food safety, legality, sustainability and ethicsAct as the main technical contact for assigned customer accountsManage customer technical systems, specifications, policies and documentationPrepare and analyse reports, spreadsheets and KPI data (weekly, monthly, quarterly)Coordinate product samples, varietal approvals, benchmarking and evaluationsMonitor complaints, QSL, rejections and RTM data, delivering insight and performance trackingParticipate in supplier approval, due diligence, ethical and environmental monitoringSupport and participate in internal, customer and third-party auditsLead and contribute to investigations using CI tools to resolve quality and performance issuesEngage with suppliers and growers on seasonal planning, spec alignment and improvement plansVisit suppliers and growers to review performance and identify opportunitiesSupport NPD, innovation and artwork processes from concept to launchHost and coordinate site and supplier visits with clear objectivesPromote best practice in hygiene, health 'safety and environmental standardsWhat We're Looking ForExperience in food manufacturing, fresh produce or FMCG technical rolesStrong understanding of food safety, quality systems and customer standardsConfident communicator with customers, suppliers and internal teamsHighly organised, data-driven and able to manage multiple prioritiesProactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvementWhat's in It for You??
