Academics are an education recruitment agency working in partnership with primary schools across South Wales. We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Year 4 Teacher for a welcoming and supportive school located in Barry.This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a love for early Key Stage 2 learning, and a desire to nurture academic and emotional growth in young learners.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculumSupport pupils in developing core skills in literacy, numeracy, and early independenceTrack and assess progress to inform planning and next stepsCreate a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environmentWork collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carersMinimum Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Academics)Prior experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, with the ability to adapt for a range of learning needsTwo professional references from the last two yearsWhether you're an experienced KS1 teacher or an NQT/ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, this role offers a rewarding opportunity in a fantastic school setting.JBRP1_UKTJ
