Learning Support Assistant (Secondary - KS3/KS4)Start Date: Immediate (February 2026)We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our secondary team, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to make a meaningful difference to pupils with a range of SEND needs, including SEMH, trauma, and adversity.Key ResponsibilitiesWork under the direction of the SENCo, Senior Leadership Team, and teaching staff to deliver learning activities and interventionsSupport pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, enabling access to learning and promoting independenceBuild safe, trusting relationships and act as a positive role modelSupport pupils' holistic development, including emotional, social, and life skillsDeliver bespoke intervention programmes and maintain accurate records of pupil progressEssential:Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary schoolGCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English and MathsStrong organisational skills, including record keeping and running interventionsDesirable:Experience working with pupils with SEMH needsExperience supporting pupils who have experienced trauma or adversitJBRP1_UKTJ
