Multi-Skilled EngineerDepartment: EngineeringLocation: Chilled Food Manufacturing FacilitySalary: £54,000 per annumShift Pattern: Rotating Days & Nights 4 on / 4 offHours: 12-hour shifts----------------------------------------Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a state-of-the-art chilled food manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking to progress their career within a fast-growing business.----------------------------------------Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment.Diagnose faults and carry out timely, effective repairs to minimise downtime.Maintain and improve a wide range of food packaging and processing machinery, including:Conveyor systemsHeat sealersNetting and flow-wrapping machinesCoding and labelling systemsBucket fillersStrapping machinesWork closely with Production teams to support operational performance.Provide technical guidance and support to Technical and Machine Operators.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food safety standards.----------------------------------------Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment (ideally food manufacturing).Formal Electrical Engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, Engineering Apprenticeship, or Food & Drink Apprenticeship Standard).Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability across electrical and mechanical systems.Experience maintaining standard industry machinery, including conveyor systems, bucket fillers, and strapping machines.Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement activities.----------------------------------------Personal AttributesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required.If this sounds of interest then please contact Joshua Warner at Stirling Warrington.JBRP1_UKTJ
