Care Manager | Boroughbridge, North YorkshireSalary: £35,000 per yearFull-time | PermanentWe are recruiting on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours Housing Association for an experienced and confident Care Manager to lead the care team at Heath Lodge in Boroughbridge.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is passionate about delivering high standards of person-centred care and building a positive, motivated team culture.The RoleAs Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of care delivery within the home.Key responsibilities include:Leading, supervising and supporting senior carers, team leaders and care staffPromoting a positive environment that upholds dignity, independence and choiceEnsuring care is delivered in line with individual needs and care plansActing as a visible, hands-on leader, stepping into care delivery where neededConducting team meetings, supervisions and appraisalsMonitoring performance and implementing support or improvement plansOverseeing care documentation to ensure accuracy and complianceSupporting safe medication processes and staff competencyAssisting with rota planning to ensure fair and effective staffing coverageWorking collaboratively with catering, housekeeping and other departmentsManaging concerns or complaints sensitively and professionallyPreparing reports for senior managementParticipating in the on-call rota and supporting the team during emergenciesAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced care professional who can combine operational oversight with strong people leadership.Essential requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience within the care sectorAt least 3 years' supervisory experience at Deputy Manager levelLevel 5 qualification in Health & Social CareStrong leadership and mentoring capabilityExcellent communication and organisational skillsA solid understanding of safeguarding, compliance and regulatory standardsA genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred careYou will be someone who leads by example and creates a culture of accountability, collaboration and compassion.Salary & Benefits£35,000 per yearOngoing training and professional developmentFree on-site parkingPaid lunch break with lunch providedGroup and 1-to-1 wellbeing sessionsLong service recognitionReferral bonusesHealthcare cash planBlue Light Card with discounts across hundreds of retailers If you are an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up, or an existing Care Manager seeking a new challenge in a well-established organisation, we would welcome your application.Please apply with your CV outlining your relevant experience and qualifications.Key Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information contained in your CV and application.
