Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for mechanical equipment?CNC Recruitment is seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Pipe Fitter to join our client based in the Mid Devon districtLocation: TivertonRole Type: Field-basedContract: Permanent, 40 hours per weekSalary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience and skill set)Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out commercial biomass boiler installations and project work nationwideLead on-site pipefitting activities, providing technical guidance and decision-making support to the Project ManagerProvide technical support to Treco operations staff as requiredComplete detailed snagging lists and reports for commissioningAssist with compiling parts lists where necessaryDiagnose faults, attend breakdowns, and recommend corrective actionsBuild and supervise boiler installationsProvide detailed breakdown reports, including required parts listsCarry out installation work in full accordance with issued design drawings, documenting any deviationsUndertake pre-commissioning checks when requiredProvide technical support to customers via telephone and on-site visitsComplete meter changes in line with RHI/Ofgem requirements, including supporting documentation and imagesCarry out servicing and maintenance of boilersAccurately assess labour and parts required for servicing and breakdownsConduct risk assessments for all site visitsEnsure compliance with Health & Safety regulationsSupervise junior team members where applicableMaintain a professional and positive image of the Treco GroupComplete timesheets, expense forms, and mandatory training as requiredFollow company processes and proceduresMaintain company vehicle and tools in good working orderWork away from home during the week when requiredEssential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar roleStrong mechanical or electrical engineering backgroundProficient in Microsoft OfficeGood written and spoken EnglishFull UK driving licenceDesirable Skills & QualificationsWelding experienceIPAF and/or PASMA licenceBiomass boiler experiencePersonal AttributesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisational and time management skillsEffective communicator with colleagues, trades, and clientsFlexible and willing to learn new skillsReliable and able to meet deadlinesProactive with strong problem-solving abilitiesProfessional and approachable mannerBenefitsCompany pension schemeHealth and wellbeing support package21 days holiday plus bank holidays1 additional days leave per year of service (up to 5 extra days)Additional paid birthday leaveOne paid volunteer day per yearOvernight expenses covered when working awayComprehensive, industry-specific training providedJBRP1_UKTJ
