Landscape Environmental SupervisorSurrey£40,000 - £50,000 per annumWe seek an experienced and drivenLandscape Environmental Supervisorto lead field operations focused on the identification, management and excavation of invasive plant species such as bamboo and Japanese knotweed.This is a hands-on, supervisory role working across both commercial development sites and residential homeowner projects throughout the South East.You will lead small site teams, oversee excavation and remediation works and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.The role involves travel, occasional overnight stays which are fully expensed and opportunities for overtime.As a Landscape Environmental Supervisor, you will:Lead and participate in the removal and remediation of invasive plant species, including Japanese knotweed and bambooSupervise excavation, groundworks and reinstatement works on commercial and residential sitesPlan daily site activities and allocate tasks to field operativesEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule and in line with environmental regulations and industry best practiceInterpret site plans, risk assessments and method statementsOversee site setup, materials, plant and equipment logisticsOperate and supervise the use of excavators and associated plant machineryMaintain strict adherence to health, safety and environmental complianceCommunicate professionally with clients, contractors and managementProduce site reports, progress updates and photographic recordsMentor and support team members, contributing to skills development and trainingRequirements:Proven experience supervising field teams in landscaping, environmental services, groundworks or constructionHands-on experience with invasive weed management and excavationExperience operating plant machinery (excavators, dumpers, loaders)Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental complianceExperience working on commercial and residential projectsAbility to read and interpret site drawings and RAMSStrong organisational and communication skillsFull, manual UK driving licenceDesirable:CSCS cardSSSTS or SMSTS certificationCPCS or NPORS plant operator certificationExperience with waste classification, soil handling and environmental remediation processesOther info:Company vehicle, tools and equipment suppliedOpportunities for career progression and leadership developmentThis role could be self employed or PAYEPlease apply with your CV via the apply button.JBRP1_UKTJ
