Our Night shift typically runs4 in 6 - starting between 20:00 and 23:00 dependant on volumes.OurNight Shift Manageris a key role to ensure the smooth running of the Night operation in the Depot; where you will lead teams of Supervisors, Night Loaders, Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites in to smaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer. The Nightshift Manageris fully accountable for the performance of theshift whilst proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service & operational efficiency.Interested?We are looking for someone who can ...Manage all areas of the night warehouse sortation in an efficient cost-effective manner.Ensuring depot key KPI's are achieved e.g. sortation compliance, Vehicle Departure times etc.Budget Management to achieve the agreed service levels including productivity, labour costs, overtime usage, Agency usage.To lead, coach and develop the supervisors on shift.To adhere to the legal requirements of the 'O' Licence.Essential skills and experience required:Transport knowledge, skills or experience including regulationsManagementexperience of leading and managing a team.Mustbe able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlinesPCLiterate with a working knowledge of Microsoft officeExperienced of working in fast-paced logisticsGoodcommunicator and able to liaise at all levelsAt Evri, we know we only grow if our people do too.
