Working on a full-time, permanent basis the successful candidate will earn a competitive salary dependent on experience + optional overtime + benefits.As our Forklift Service Engineer you will act as a key member of the team by keeping our clients forklifts in smooth working order.The successful candidate for the role of Field Service Engineer will have the following duties and responsibilities:Servicing and preventative maintenance of customer forklift truck equipment ensuring unscheduled repairs are minimizedAttend breakdowns and perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis carrying out subsequent repairs in a time and cost-effective mannerProvide the customer and company with clear information regarding equipment, service, repairs and recommendations as appropriateDevelop and maintain client relationships ensuring the highest levels of customer service is achievedCompletion of documentation to company standardsAdhering to Health & Safety requirements at all timeSkills, Experience and Qualifications needed as our Field Forklift Service Engineer:In-depth mechanical experience including strong diagnosis and repair skillsExcellent servicing and fault-finding skillsA FLT Engineering, or Plant Engineering backgroundExperience of hydraulics and electrical equipment an advantage, specific training will be provided as required - A full driving licenseStrong communication skills, written and verbalA professional and confident personality with the ability to liaise with people from all walks of lifeThe ability to plan and prioritize workloadA flexible and helpful attitude to workExcellent organization and customer service skillsAbility to work with others as well as on your own initiativeIf you feel youre the right candidate for the role of Field Service Engineer, then please apply now!Company Van, fuel card, company laptop, company mobile & expenses are provided.Salary between £32,884 to £37,606 depending on experience.Plus Door to Door and overtime.Head Office 23 Hainge Road, Oldbury, West Midlands.
