Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Interior Fit-Out & Refurb Contractorc£50k - £60k Negotiable on ExperiencePotential Car AllowanceBenefits Including Pension / Healthcare / Bonus SchemeThe CompanyMy client is one of the UKs leading interiors contractors within the leisure & hospitality sector, fitting out and refurbishing bars, restaurants and hotel venues for a blue chip client base throughout the UK.The Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Role:Working from the companies head office they require an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor at Intermediate Level (3 5 years experience) with the ability to take responsibility and manage the commercial aspects of fast track interior fit-out and refurbishment projects valued from £50k to £2m.You will expected to:Review cost plan information, agree target margins, advise on risks and develop project budgets.Analyse sub-contractor quotations and place orders.Agree monthly valuations with the PQS, raise invoices and secure payment.Produce monthly status reports and attend meetingsAdminister final accounts with clients and sub-contractorsThe Successful Estimator / Quantity Surveyor:You should have at least 3 5 years post qualification experience in a construction contractor environment, ideally with project experience in sectors such as Leisure, Retail or Commercial construction and refurbishment projects.In-depth knowledge of the construction process including both new build and fit-out / refurbishment.Experience in the majority of the above roles & responsibilitiesDegree qualified or NVQ, BTEC or Higher National equivalent3 to 5 years full time experience in a surveying role with a leading reputable main / principal contractorGood Understanding of JCT forms of contract & Contract lawGood knowledge and understanding of Word and Excel packagesGood verbal and written communication skillsJBRP1_UKTJ
