Environmental & Infrastructure ProjectsLocation: Hybrid 3 days office-based (Staffordshire)Start date: Ideally by AprilAbout the CompanyOur client is a growing environmental management contractor delivering specialist works including wetlands creation, habitat creation, landscaping, and tree planting across major infrastructure projects throughout the UK.With current turnover of £20m and ambitious growth plans to reach £30m by 2027, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business in expansion mode, offering strong career progression and exposure to diverse infrastructure schemes.Their projects range from £7k minor works to £7m major infrastructure packages, with typical Quantity Surveyor responsibility covering schemes between £200k and £5m.Their clieets are major well known contractors who you could expect to be working with reguarly.The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, working within a supportive commercial team and reporting into senior commercial leadership.You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, working both independently and collaboratively across infrastructure and environmental schemes.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial management of multiple projects from £200k to £5mCost planning, cost control, and financial reportingContract administration under NEC, JCT, or ICE contractsManaging subcontractor procurement, valuations, and paymentsPreparing and agreeing variations and final accountsSupporting project delivery teams with commercial guidanceEnsuring projects are commercially successful and well-managed Requirements Essential2-5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveyor roleExperience working on NEC, JCT, or ICE contractsExperience working independently on live projectsStrong numerical and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAmbitious and motivated to develop within a growing business DesirableInfrastructure, civil engineering, or utilities experience (highways, rail, water, gas, electric, OHL)Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or major infrastructure clientsLandscaping, environmental, or habitat creation experienceExperience using or exposure to CEMARMRICS or working towards professional accreditation What's on OfferSalary circa £50,000 (DOE)Clear career progression as the company growsExposure to major infrastructure and environmental projectsSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to join a growing and evolving businessJBRP1_UKTJ
