Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and confident Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic secondary school in Halifax. This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with students across a range of year groups and subjects, providing essential support in the absence of teaching staff. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to become permanent.Key Responsibilities:Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacherManage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environmentSupport students with their learning and encourage engagementLiaise with teaching staff and report on student progressUphold school policies and procedures at all timesQualifications & Experience:Minimum of GCSEs (including English and Maths); A-Levels or degree desirablePrevious experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, tutoring)Strong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to build rapport with students and staffA genuine interest in education and student developmentEnhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)If youre enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to take the next step in your education career, wed love to hear from you!JBRP1_UKTJ
